Fish Aquarium Water Problems

Smelly Water:

No one can admire your beautiful fish aquarium display if the fish tank water gives a foul odor. The bad odor is caused by improper care or attention to the fish tank.

Most likely the bad odor is a result of the high concentration of ammonia and nitrates in fish tank water. Due to the surplus waste getting generated in fish tank, ammonia and nitrate get formed and make the water toxic. This is the source of bad smell in the aquarium. Check your water filter and ensure it is working properly. Find out if the capacity of the installed filter is sufficient for the amount of water or the waste produced in the tank.

You should immediately change the water to do away with foul smell. Most of the water problems in the tank can be forbidden by the correct design of the fish tank.A large enough tank and a filter with adequate capacity to filter the complete water in the tank more frequently will help. It will make your fish tank attractive and scuffle free.
