Fish & Fancy Seafood Takeout

The Jersey shore and seafood go together like "love and marriage", and for the best in seafood take-out in Cape May County there's Fish & Fancy on Bayshore Road in the Villas.

There are good reasons why, since 1980, residents and visitors from all over the county make it a point to get to Fish & Fancy. Co-owners Bill Damiana and Lisa Swecker make sure their selection is second to none, stocking the largest selection of both prepared and unprepared seafood. In true cuisine style, Fish & Fancy's cases are stocked with a huge variety of fresh seafood, including prepared items such as jumbo coconut shrimp and breaded seafood. Creative chefs Mary Cluff and Kat Hill are always introducing special dishes that you won't find at any other seafood take-outs. Just a few examples are their grilled Caribbean shrimp over garlic infused rice, grilled orange glazed salmon and fresh garden seafood pasta. You might expect their upscale dishes to be expensive, but you'd be wrong. All items are reasonably priced. Entrees range from $7.95 to $12.95 on the menu and specials range from $9.95 to $19.95.

At Fish & Fancy you can either purchase foods that are prepared and ready to cook at home or have their chefs cook if for you while you wait...at no extra charge!

"Customers love the idea that they can walk down the cases and create a custom order...'I'll have 2 jumbo shrimp, 6 oysters, 2 crab cakes and 2 pounds of flounder'. Then they either take it home to use in their own fryalator or cast iron skillet, or let us cook it for them," explains Bill. "You aren't limited to a set menu."

The vast number of different items in Fish & Fancy's showcases are sure to satisfy everyone's taste buds...char-broiled fish, seafood pasta dishes, Baltimore crab cakes, sea scallops, Alaskan king crab, weakfish, lobster, homemade chowders, cream of crab...the list seems endless! Their selection of munchies and desserts (made fresh daily) will round out any dinner! Their rice pudding was the best we've every tasted! A kids' menu is also available, as well as non-seafood items for those in your group who would prefer chicken or eggplant dishes.
