Fish Fest '12 a dynamic one-day school where you can learn everything you need to know about local Carolina saltwater fishing, is set for 8 am to 4:15 pm on Feb 18, 2012. This unique family event held by the Cape Fear Christian Sportsmen (CFCS) features an amazing lineup of local expert fishing captains that will teach you angling tips and techniques for catching everything from flounder to King mackerel.
Fish Fest '12 is a fun fishing school open to anyone including wives and children. There is no cost, although a $30 donation will certainly be appreciated. The event will be held at Scotts Hill Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC.
You can register for this great event now at www.capefearsportsmen.org/fishfest
The CFCS was started in 2008 as a ministry of Christ Community Church in Wilmington. CFCS was created by outdoorsmen bonding together through an appreciation of the outdoors and Jesus Christ.
The organization works to form authentic relationships for men from all backgrounds while doing the things that they love: fishing, hunting, shooting, and enjoying the outdoors. CFCS sponsors several events throughout the year including a fishing school, dove shoot, and a fishing tournament.
The fishing classes lineup for the event boast a truly amazing all-star array of local experts including:
