Fisher-Price Handy Mandy talking tool box. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen so I ended up buying it for $30. The price was a bit steep but it was well worth it.
I've always been a fan of Handy Mandy so buying something that has to do with Handy Mandy is a treat. This Fisher-Price Handy Mandy talking tool box comes with great features and plus it's just all around fun for my child to play with. At first glance it looks like it's just a regular old tool box but that's the furthest from the truth.
The Pros
If you know anything about Handy Mandy then you know that there are 7 different characters. Pat, Turner, Dusty, Stretch, Felipe, Squeeze, and Rusty all are part of the Handy Mandy Toolbox and they make it so much fun.
My son utilizes his Handy Mandy tools by playing with them around the house but the cool part about the tools is that whenever he puts them in his tool box and presses the Manny button the tools come alive!
They sing the coolest little songs that makes my son so excited. At first I thought it was a bit cheesy but I've actually gotten used to the whole musical escapade so it's not as cheesy as it used to be.
Another thing I like about the Fisher-Price Handy Mandy Talking tool box is that all 7 of the interactive tools really persuades my son that he is really a "fixer" man. The tool box can easily be carried around and it holds every tool in place like a charm.
Cons
The only thing I really didn't like about the Handy Mandy Talking Tool box was that it eats up batteries really quickly. Considering the fact that my son doesn't do anything but press the Manny button, I'm not sure how this is possible.
It's not an huge issue because my son utilizes the tool box more for it's purpose, which is to fix things that are broken.
My conclusion?
The Handy Mandy Talking Tool Box is a fun tool box that makes fixing things all the more fun. My son loves it and believe me when I say, if he loves it then it must be something special. It could be a bit less expensive but I've bought much more expensive toys that did a lot less than the Handy Mandy Talking Tool Box.
