Fisher-Price Infant-To-Toddler Rocker - Don't Waste Your Money

Fisher-Price Infant-To-Toddler Rocker is a great concept but not a great chair. Supposedly your child can use this chair from an infant to toddler age. Not quite. The best part of using this chair was when my son was about 4 months old. I would put him in the chair to feed him. At this point he wasn't ready for a highchair but he was way too heavy too old while feeding. The chair would adjust to an incline that would be safe him to eat. The bottom of the chair has a little kick out stand so the chair remains in one place, it won't rock. I did use this feature for the whole time I had this chair. I wouldn't suggest using the rocking part of the chair until your child is much older. But the problem is that by the time your child can safely use the rocker, he/she won't want to use it. They are up to running around the house by then.

The chair comes with a bar that holds three hanging toys. They aren't the most interesting toys and if you ask me the bar and the toys just got in the way. I removed the bar and put it in the basement. A good feature on this chair is that there is a vibrating option. It can be turned on and off which is great. You don't want your child vibrating while you are feeding them. The chair requirements state that you can let your child sit it in up to 40 pounds. My son is 31 pounds and I would never have him sit in that chair now. I wouldn't feel it was safe enough. The chair is only stable with the kick piece down.

If you want a bouncy seat this wouldn't be the chair I would recommend. If you just need an extra chair around the house that is a little more upright than a bouncy then buy this one. If not I would stay away from this one. The age recommendations is from birth to three years. I stopped using it when my son turned 10 months. I don't feel I got my money's worth.

You could purchase this chair from Amazon.com for $29.94. At Target.com you could purchase it for a little more at $30.89. Toysrus.com is selling a new version for $34.99. Maybe they have made some improvements on this chair. Overall I would not suggest purchasing this chair. Spend you money on a product you will get more use out of.

I don't agree at all. My daughters LOVE this chair. When they were little I got one, she slept in it alot, I fed her in it, and rocked her when she was fussy. She is now almost 4 and she still uses it. It is just the right size for her. I now have a 1.5 year old and I had to get a second one for her because they fought over it. My Mom has had one for all 5 of her grand kids, and my best friends also bought one for there children. This is a great chair, my only commplaint is that the stopper has fallen off, it is easy to put back on. I highly Recommend this chair!!!!!!!!!!!
