Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Baby Bouncer

My sister had given me her Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Bouncer from when her children were done with it and outgrew it. I am sure glad she kept it for me. If you were to buy this at the store it would run you about $44.99 from Babies R Us. All three of her children used this bouncy seat and it was still in great condition. All I needed to do was add 4 D batteries. Why does everything need 4 D Batteries. They are so expensive and who really keeps D batteries as extras in the house. I shouldn't be complaining, I did get the bouncy seat for free.

My son was having trouble sleeping as a newborn. He only lasted about two weeks in our beautiful bassinet that we received as a present from our in-laws. My husband and I didn't know how to get my son to sleep at night. He never had any trouble sleeping through the day, it was just hard at night. My son would grunt all night long. We though he had gas and was uncomfortable. My mom came to visit from Florida and insisted that she take the baby into her room for the night. She said that my husband and I should get some sleep, we were truly exhausted. At first I fought her on this idea, but I was so tired I finally agreed.

When I woke up the net morning I couldn't believe it. I actually slept throughout the night. Wow. It felt great. When I went downstairs and saw my mom with the baby, I asked her how she did it? I would always having him sitting in the bouncy seat. I never made the connection. I guess that is why I was a new mom and she had already raised two children. I couldn't thank her enough for helping us.

I found that during the day I would keep the toy bar on. That kept my son awake and interested in the music and the lights. At night I would take the toy bar off so he wouldn't be distracted and could fall asleep. Always keep the strap on your baby, no matter what. It only takes a half a second for your baby to fall out. Also, never keep the bouncy on a high table. You need to keep on the floor so it doesn't fall off the table and baby gets hurt. Never leave child unattended.

The cushion on the seat is very simple to clean. If you are going to store the seat somewhere, remove the batteries. I highly recommend the Award winning Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Bouncer. There a lot of different bouncy seats on the market and I think this one is tops. Amazon.com is selling this bouncy seat for $89.99. That is much more expensive than Babies R Us.
