Fisher-Price Puppy Xylophone is a Great Toy!

Review of Fisher-Price Toddlin' Tunes Puppy

Kirsi Bertolini
I am a big fan of simple toys that will last. This toy is one of them. I have five children between 2 and 10 and this little puppy has been one of their favorites.

There is many great features about it. First of all it is very sturdy. Let's face it, if my kids did not brake it over the years it must be!

The cord for the bone is short enough not to tangle or cause a choking hazard for a normal kid. I think there is a possibility to tangle it around smallest wrists or fingers but if you supervise your children this is relatively safe toy.

The bone also doubles as a handle to hold while pulling the puppy, wheels under it are simple and do not come off. If you have toy cars for your kids you know how easily some of the tires or wheels will break!

My youngest son enjoys placing the bone to puppy's mouth and feels proud about himself when he gets it in right place and it will stay there. When you are pulling the puppy the tail wags, another little extra feature that is very nice.

This puppy has cheerful face and great colors all around. After being banged around for a long time it does not have hardly any scratches to it. The xylophone works in two ways, you can use the bone or push the big knobs.

The sound is not overly loud or screechy, I'd be lying if I'd say it is musically pleasant but just to see the joy in your child's face after creating some of his own music justifies buying this toy.

So I'll give Fisher-Price Toddlin' Tunes Puppy a big thumbs up and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a gift for a child aged between 1 and 5 years old.
