I have seen and used other highchairs that were harder to maintain and, eventually over time, just fell apart. The fisher price highchair I chose to purchase had a washable tray you can place in the dishwasher when it gets dirty as well as easy to remove seat belts you can also place in the dishwasher after they've gotten dirty.
This particular highchair has a plastic type of material on the seat that is easy to wipe off with a damp towel for when food gets on it. I have had to wash cloth highchair pads in the washing machine and wait for them to air dry before so this is a very nice convenience for me.
The fisher price highchair also came with a toy you can snap into place on the tray to keep baby happy when you're preparing dinner and want to keep him or her entertained and happy. Another nice feature the highchair comes with is a place to store the toy for when it's not in use. However it does not have a place to store the removable tray it comes with. So you don't really have a place to store the tray on the highchair when the toy is in use even though the display picture for the highchair has the tray on the lower portion of the highchair.
This product is fairly easy to assemble and has good descriptions as how to put it together in the manual. It doesn't come with all the tools you need to put it together though and there are a couple of screws underneath the seat that are a bit tricky to get into place. It only took me around 15 minuted to put the whole thing together.
This particular highchair ranges around one hundred dollars. Which I think is a good deal considering the quality of the product as well as the ease of keeping it clean (washable tray and seat belts). It is nice and colorful, it has locking casters to help keep baby in place, and it includes an electronic toy which is nice to have for entertaining the baby while you are preparing meals.
I don't really have anything bad to say about this highchair other than I wish it did have storage on it for the removable tray. But overall it scores and A+ in my book.
