Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway Review

Count on Fisher-Price to bring in some spice to good old car chases in your child's pretend play with the Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway. The Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway consists of a four point five foot long speedway and two race cars which literally crash when they collide with each other or into any obstacle they encounter.

The Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway is basically a racetrack that provides a venue for toys cars to race and intersections to make the races more exciting. Your child can either watch the cars race or crash into each other. I am sure your child will prefer the latter as when the two race cars included in the Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway collide, their hoods pop open and pieces fly off. They even produce load sounds to simulate a realy crash. I do not think other toys can match the excitement of this feature. The two race cars included in the Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway, require three double-A batteries each.

The Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway's race track has cool spinners which move when a car foes flying through its gate, while its "Bridge Out" feature lowers a gate and sends a car flying with just a push of a side button. The Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway's race track also features a hidden trap door.

I would recommend the Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway for both young and older children as the Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway is easy to assemble and control. The Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway has proven to be quite durable as my kids use it quite often and play with it roughly. However, I would recommend using the Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway outdoors, like on the patio or on the garden, so that the flying cars do not crash on your wooden floors.

Although the Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway comes with a four foot track, it is shaped like a figure eight, making it smaller than it sounds. The kids grew tired of the race track easily and I would have liked a longer speedway. Although the Fisher-Price Shake 'n Go!: Crash Up Speedway is easy to assemble, it needs the help of parents as well when it comes to assembly, just to ensure that the parts are snapped on correctly.
