Fit Flops Product Review

Cassie Schmelz
Since people are more desperate than ever to lose weight, more bizarre products are coming out that promise to help us meet our weight loss goals. The Fit Flop Sandal promises to help tone the legs and buttocks as well as help you stay in shape easier. I have been wearing my Fit Flops for five months now and have had no such luck.

I'm just like most people, I hear about the latest diets and trends that promise to make weight loss easier and I try it. When I looked at the website for Fit Flops, it said that I could work out and tone my legs just by going about my daily routine in their special sandal. I thought $50.00 sounded like a small price to pay, if they really worked.

According to the Fit Flop website, Fit Flops work because they place an unstable surface under your feet to "challenge the support and balance muscles of the foot and leg," so "every step you take in your Fit Flops helps tone and trim your legs." I do understand what they're getting at here, I'm just not convinced that wearing Fit Flops can produce noticeable results.

I wear my Fit Flops whenever I get the chance during normal activities and even wear them while taking walks. I can't say that I've ever felt any burn and have certainly never been sore after wearing them. I'm not saying that Fit Flops don't work your butt and leg muscles a little more, it just doesn't appear to be enough to make a significant difference. In the five months I've had mine, I haven't noticed any changes in firmness and I definitely haven't experience any weight loss.

That being said, my Fit Flops are very comfortable. The website does boast that they help reduce joint strain, absorb shock, and improve posture. I don't know about all that, but having already spent the money on them, I do enjoy wearing my Fit Flops for comfort purposes. Another positive is that they come in several stylish colors. I have actually gotten compliments while wearing them.

So, unfortunately, if you're looking for a miracle shoe that's going to take inches off your thighs and butt, Fit Flops probably aren't going to do the trick. You'd be be much better off spending your money on a session with a personal trainer. However, if you don't mind spending that much on a sandal, then Fit Flops are a comfortable choice that you might enjoy.

Great review of the Fit Flops product. As I said before, I really like your writing style.
