Five

Five

Five was a good and bad age,

I can't recall problems or rage,

But I do recall that's when dad left,

He committed a theft of my childhood,

But I was young and I don't know what happen,

All I know is he was gone,

Mom didn't act any differently,

She just kept handling her business,

Mom wasn't wild,

She had more then a child,

She had a family,

So no club nights or crazy friends,

Mom life started with God and that's where it will end,

I don't know how she stayed strong,

First day of school she dropped me off,

I made life long friends in kindergarten,

God will let you meet amazing people though out your life,

I remember my so called "first crush",

I also remember my first fight in school,

I was five but man I thought I was cool,

I showed out in school from day one,

Because I was mom only son,

Only male in the house,

I had to get it out some time,

I was too young to rhyme,

So for that time I just was bad,

Don't blame me,

Blame dad,

That's sad cause Mom could have said that too,

But she was mad at me cause it was my fault for acting out and that's true,

Five years old most people can't even recall,

But I can cause that was my rise and dads fall.

I don't remember much of my childhood at all.
