Five Back-to-School Budget-Friendly Laptops for Students

As fast at the race of technology is running these days, it is essential for almost every child to have access to a computer to do his homework. The HP Probook is available with just as many bells and whistles as that of a common desktop and is available for less than $500-friendly for any student's budget.

Available from Amazon.com, the Asus Eee PC 1005PR (netbook)offers 250 GB of free hard drive space at just $399. Its platform also comes preloaded with Windows 7 and its screen is small measuring at just ten inches. The Asus is very easy to transport and carry around weighing in at just about three pounds, providing less strain for a student. It also has HD available in some of the video playback too.

So if you are on a budget for school supplies, and your student is in need of a technology upgrade in the laptop department, there are price friendly products available that also will fit a student's needs. Most laptops that are priced under $500 are still just as worthy as those that are well priced over a thousand dollars.

    Nice selection... though I don't think that notebooks and netbooks should, necessarily, be considered in the same category... re either size or speed.
