KINeSYS Performance Spray Sunscreen - Triathalon
The favorite of runners and triathletes, KINeSYS has a preservative free formula that stands up to just about anything possible while outdoors. This formula comes in a microspray and is easy to apply and get full coverage. It's earth friendly, and free of alcohol while also being hypoallergenic. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for with this formula.
Ranging from SPF 15-60, HIMAYA has a unique sunscreen in that you can apply it even if you are already wet and it will rub into the skin. It's also one of the toughest waterproof formulas around, has a dry grip so if you're a hiker or cyclist, you don't need to worry about slipping, and is also fortified with vitamins for overall skin health.
XTerra has been the gold standard for outdoor enthusiasts for some time now, and it's pretty easy to see why when you try this formula. It's not fancy like some, and goes on thick like a lot of the older Zinc based compounds, but what's great about XTerra is that it LASTS. So if you're not so great at remembering to reapply, this might be the best formula for you.
If you have the problem of the sunblock running into your eyes when you sweat, this is the best formula for that. The Scape blend will not run. So much so that it might take a little bit of witch hazel after your workout to get all of it off! It also has a mechanism in the cream that allows the body to perspire by not blocking the pores so the core temperature doesn't rise.
Coppertone Sport Sunblock SPF 30
If you're on a tight budget and can't afford the more expensive brands, good ol' Coppertone is the way to go. It's a decent sport sunblock that doesn't break down too quickly when exposed to heat and sweat. The only caveat tot his formula is that it tends to evaporate a bit quicker than the higher end brands, so you will have to reapply often.
Not only is fitness important, but sun protection is too. With these five sport sunscreens you can find the formula that best works for you and your workout.
