Five Celebrities With Movies Releasing in Time for Thanksgiving

Five celebrities have movies releasing just in time for Thanksgiving, but that's not the only thing these actresses have to be thankful for.

Kirsten Dunst

"Melancholia" was finally released to U.S. theaters on November 11, 2011, after being released in France. Kirsten Dunst won the Festival De Cannes Best Actress Award for her starring role in "Melancholia." If that wasn't enough to be thankful for, Dunst just landed a role in the upcoming movie "Red Light Winter," along with Mark Ruffalo and Billy Crudup. Did I mention that Dunst will be playing a prostitute? Quite a change from her role as a newly married women in "Melancholia."

Amy Adams

What doesn't Amy Adams have to be thankful for? This girl is on fire! She plays Mary in "The Muppets," which is set to hit theaters the day before Thanksgiving. In addition, Adams landed herself on the cover of the December 2011 edition of InStyle Magazine. Then of course, she is set to star in Clint Eastwood's new film alongside him.

As for Adams' personal life, she is engaged to Darren Le Gallo, who she is keeping in suspense when it comes to the date of the wedding. Adams and Le Gallo have a beautiful daughter, who was born last May. Who could tell Amy had a baby just a little over a year ago by looking?

Michelle Williams

Who wouldn't be thankful for landing the starring role as Marilyn Monroe in "My Week With Marilyn?" It's almost as if Williams gets to become a legend herself through the movie.

Not everyone can pull of a short yet stylish pixie haircut the way Williams does. She keeps her hair short for the father of her daughter and ex-fiance, Heath Ledger, who died in 2008 due to an accidental drug overdose.

I think Michelle and her daughter, Matilda, deserve a great Thanksgiving. The big movie releasing the day before Thanksgiving should give their holiday a boost.

Emma Watson

While Watson does not have a starring role in "My Week With Marilyn," she should still be proud of her part in the movie. Watson plays Lucy, who is a wardrobe girl.

Emma, who you may better know as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, is another firecracker with a lot going on in her life. She was nominated as best dressed by Glamour in May, and appeared in Vogue and Empire Magazine in June.

Keira Knightley

Move over Rupert Friend because Keira has a new beau, James Righton, and several new movies. Knightley stars in "A Dangerous Method," which is releasing in the U.S. on November, 23, 2011. She also has a movie and a television show in post production, and she is currently filming another.
