Five Celebrities that Have Their Own Special Christmas Traditions

Pam Parent
Christmas is all about spending time with friends and family, and creating lasting memories. On this special day, traditions are created and carried out. As families grow, and new generations begin, many families add new twists to their existing traditions to make them their own. This is a time when many of us can relate to celebrities and their special traditions that they embrace each year at Christmastime. These celebrity Christmas traditions are simply charming and heartwarming.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and her family have a Christmas card tradition. This popular tradition is of their family posing for their annual Christmas card. The card last year was dramatic, and certainly made a statement. The card featured Kim and her family in dramatic poses standing on a winding staircase. Even the little ones have attitude in the Kardashian's Christmas photo.

Lady Gaga

The usually non-traditional Lady Gaga is very traditional when it comes to Christmas traditions. Lady Gaga cherishes her family. She will spend Christmas with her family sitting around the tree opening presents. Going to Christmas mass is also on Lady Gaga's holiday schedule.

Melissa Joan Hart

A crazy sweater party is one of Melissa Joan Hart's nutty Christmas traditions. There is a fierce competition between her and her family members to see which one can acquire and wear the tackiest Christmas sweater. Last year Hart made her family's sweaters that included battery pack lights, glitter and a lot of pom poms glued to the shirts with a glue gun.

Paula Deen

One of the most popular Christmas traditions for Paula Deen is making sure all of her family is together during the holidays. She travels over half of the year, so being home with her family is a must. Deen got engaged to her second husband Groover on Christmas 2002. Another Deen tradition is the hours she spends to make sure she picks out the perfect Christmas tree, but of course, the biggest tradition is the fabulous meal and treats she makes for her family.

Teri Hatcher

Making gingerbread houses and other homemade goodies with her daughter is a Christmas tradition for Teri Hatcher. Hatcher and her daughter give these homemade goodies to their family and friends. Once their friends and family have their yearly treats, Hatcher and her daughter make a Christmas village for themselves.
