In these troubled times, many people just don't have the money to go out and spend $75 dollars on a Friday night date. Those that do perhaps don't feel very secure and would rather hold on to their money. I can understand it. So what's the solution? You want to show her a good time but how can you do that on a budget? There are quite a few dates that she'll love that won't break the bank.

Board Games

Seriously. Get your game on. Monopoly, Payday, Jenga, Connect Four are some fun games. You can even play a game like UNO or break out a deck of cards and play rummy.

Dinner At Home

Two heads are better than one. Whip up your favorite meal together. Have her add some of her ideas as well. You can be in charge of the entree and she can be in charge of the desert. It's a lot cheaper than going out to dinner and much more fun.

Dance

Who needs a dance club to dance? Why not burn a mix CD of some great tunes, clear some space in your living room by moving some furniture and cut a rug to your favorite tunes in your own home with your lady.

Ghost Stories

If the weather has a gloomy and spooky feel to it, turn off all the lights, light a few candles and tell some of your favorite campfire ghost stories. If you scare her good, there's likely to be some cuddling.

Show Up For Dinner At Her Place

Don't show up unannounced, that's just rude but call her and tell her that you'll be by her place at 4 pm. She'll likely get herself ready to go out but show up with a couple of bags of groceries, a bottle of wine and two wine glasses and tell her that you 're going to cook her a meal in her kitchen while she relaxes. If you can't cook, just buy a cookbook or download a recipe from the Internet, cook it once on your own without her for a trial run. If it turns out great, buy the ingredients again and make it for her at her place. If you want to really turn it up, bake her a pie or make a homemade cheesecake from scratch for desert.
