"Monsturd" (2003)
This film is about a serial killer named Jack Schmidt who has escaped and running from the law. As he's about to be captured, he finds refuge in a sewer tunnel. Unfortunately for Schmidt, the tunnel is the site of not only human waste, but toxic chemicals dumped by a local corporation. Schmidt transforms into a half-human, half-poop creature that embarks on a deadly and grotesque killing spree. It's just as funny to watch as it sounds.
"Frankenhooker" (1990)
When Jeffrey's girlfriend is killed in a horrific lawnmower accident he plans to use his electronics and mad science expertise to bring her back to life. Luckily her head was unscathed in her death, so all he needs to fulfill his dream are a few spare parts from people and machines. Unable to actually murder someone with his own hands, he has developed a special kind of explosive crack cocaine that he plans to use on unsuspecting prostitutes in order to harvest their bodies. He ends up bringing his girlfriend back to life, but now she's Frankenhooker and must be stopped.
"Basket Case" (1982)
Duane and Belial Bradley were born as conjoined twins, only Belial was more like a horribly deformed, psychotic growth on his brother. The two were secretly separated as twins and have been angry about the separation ever since. They decide to exact revenge on everyone involved in tearing them apart, including their father and the doctors who performed the operation. On the trip to the city (with Belial kept in a wicker basket) Duane finds a potential love interest, which sets the stage for Belial's murderous rampage.
"Hard Rock Zombies" (1985)
This movie is cheesy on so many levels: hair metal, zombies, Hitler, rednecks, werewolves, sexual deviance, and murderous little people are just a few reasons this movie made this list. Local Grand Guignol hicks aren't happy when a rock and roll band comes to their town to play, so throughout the movie the band members are killed off despite being warned not to go there. Luckily the lead singer gave his love interest Cassie a riff to play that would bring them back from the dead. After that the film gets cheesier and cheesier.
"Dead Alive" (1982)
Directed by Peter Jackson, the main character in this movie is Lionel, a man who never fully cut the umbilical cord from his mother but who finds a potential girlfriend. His new love interest angers his mother, who is incredibly jealous of the attention Paquita is getting from her son. Meanwhile, a Sumatran rat monkey has been captured and sent to live at a nearby zoo even though we've seen that any body part scratched by the monkey has to be amputated immediately. Lionel and Paquita are on a date at the zoo with his mother, Vera, following along to sabotage their fun. Vera is bitten by the monkey and pretty soon her body starts to fall apart. She dies, but becomes a zombie, setting the stage for a local zombie outbreak including a priest who has some serious kung-fu skills and even a zombie baby.
