Branch and Twig Craft Project - Rustic Broom Decoration
This broom decoration is designed to be seen and not used. Gather one long, relatively straight branch with no side branches. Then, find a bundle of small twigs for the broom bristles. Use jute or twine to wrap the smaller twigs to the long branch handle. Then, you can decorate the broom with ribbons and bows, dried flowers, or other country accents.
Branch and Twig Craft Project - Natural Jewelry Holder
Women and girls can display and organize their jewelry with a natural branch jewelry holder. The first step is to find a small but sturdy branch with many branches coming out of it. Snip off all extra branches and leaves. When the branch is dry, use spray paint to paint the branch one color, or leave it natural. Plant the branch in a small decorated flower pot using clay or some other heavy medium. Jewelry can be hung on the branches easily.
Branch and Twig Craft Project - Twig Flower Vase
The twig flower vase starts as a cylindrical vase, jar, or bottle in glass or plastic. Small, straight twigs should be cut to be just longer than the jar. After you have enough sticks to cover the jar, use a hot glue gun to attach them side by side around the entire outside of the jar or vase. Tie a ribbon, raffia, or paper twist around the middle of the vase to complete.
Branch and Twig Craft Project - Stick Picture Frame
You can easily craft a rustic picture frame with a selection of straight branches. You need branches that are about three to five inches longer than each side of the desired picture frame size. Arrange the branches in even piles on each side and lash them together at the corners with jute, twine, or flexible vines. You can also glue the sticks together.
Branch and Twig Craft Project - Country Welcome Sign
Using cut branches and twigs in your craft projects will give the final result a beautiful, natural look. Since these materials are easy to find and collect, you will be able to make these crafts for very little money. Twig and branch crafts are great for children and adults.
