Five Different Ways to Wear a White Shirt

Looking for a wardrobe essential that is not only stylish but multi-functional? Chances are you have it in your closet already. A classic fitting white button down shirt is one of those timeless pieces that can be mixed and matched with everything in your wardrobe. Here are 5 different wardrobe options you have with that simple white shirt:

1. Jeans- Blue jeans and a white shirt may seem typical, but you can easily change it up by wearing jean capri pants paired strappy flat sandals. Throw on a chunky necklace or bracelets and you have a chic, yet causal outfit.

2. Leggings- With the simplistic look of leggings and a white button-down shirt, use it to your advantage to showcase an intricate necklace. If you have a large chunky necklace, place it under the collar to hang down over the shirt. A pair of flats will complete the look.

3. Skirts- If you have an office meeting or just want to look classic without pulling out the typical office suit, tuck a crisp white button-down shirt into a pencil or a-line skirt. Pair the skirt with a simple pair of heels and few bracelets.

4. Skinny trousers- Channel your inner Audrey Hepburn by pairing a white shirt with a pair of skinny black trousers and flats. Want to look classic but show off your unique style? Pair the outfit with an eye-catching pair of flats in red or coral. Keep the hair casual, and add your favorite pair of sunglasses for this easy look.

5. Shorts- If you want to look like you belong in the Hampton's, pair your button down shirt with a pair of chic shorts. Keep the shorts well above the knee and tuck in the white shirt. Finish off the look with some bracelets and a necklace, as well as a pair of peep-toe booties.
