Five Features that Make the Nokia X2 Smartphone a Bad Choice
The Worst Features of the Nokia X2 Prepaid Smartphone
The Nokia X2 is a budget prepaid smartphone starting at around $70, but while the Nokia X2 is a bargain at only $70, following are several reasons why you might want to steer clear of this budget prepaid smartphone.
Small Display
One of the best features of the Nokia X2 is its comfortable physical tactile QWERTY keyboard that makes typing, texting, instant messaging, and browsing the web easier, but the comfort of the Nokia X2's keyboard comes at the cost of a shoddy and small display. The Nokia X2 features a 2.4 inch LCD display that lacks brightness and makes using apps and browsing the web seems to cluttered and cramped.
Poor Speakers
The Nokia X2 smartphone was designed to provide a prepaid smartphone option for texting, instant messaging, and music lovers, but the speakers of the Nokia X2 leaves a lot to be desired. Regardless of if you're trying to use this smartphone's speaker phone during hands-free calling times or trying to jam to your favorite songs, the internal speakers of the Nokia X2 are a major let down that hurts the overall feel of this smartphone.
Camera Quality
The Nokia X2 won't be replacing your digital camera any time soon and is very disappointing with its low-quality VGA capture quality (approximately 1.3 megapixels). In addition to having a subpar camera, the Nokia X2 has less than ideal QCIF (176x144 pixels) 15 fps video capturing quality and no front facing camera. The shoddy camera quality of the Nokia X2 makes one wonder why a camera was added in the first place and is one of its worst features.
Call Quality
With all of the other mediocre features of this smartphone, you'd figure that it at least served as a functional phone with decent call quality; but that assumption would be wrong. One of the most complained about features of the Nokia X2 is that it often drops calls, has poor reception, and has overall bad call quality.
Mobile Web Browsing
Seeing how the main attraction of the Nokia X2 is its comfortable QWERTY tactile keyboard, it's a bummer that browsing the web using this smartphone doesn't complement the keyboard. The overall web browsing experience of this smartphone is slow in both networking speed and processing response time. With the Nokia X2, you'll likely spend more time looking at loading screens that actually browsing the web, and it really isn't worth the waiting.
