Who says Halloween's just for kids? Sure, mothers may have outgrown trick or treating, but many moms still enjoy dressing up in fun costumes to go with kids to Halloween parties and even door to door on Beggars' Night.

What are the most fun Halloween costumes for Moms to wear with their kids?

Plenty of creative mothers put together their own festive costumes, simply sorting through their own closets for outlandish attire and adding some face paint or a mask. However, several appealing Halloween costumes are offered for fun-loving moms on Halloween.

Here are some popular trick-or-treating outfits for moms. Take your pick for October 31.

Annie Oakley Halloween Costume: Moms can go for the gusto on Halloween in this Western-styled dress with fringed yoke and hem. The costume includes fringed gloves and a toy merit badge. Add a cowboy hat, boots, and a toy rifle to become Buffalo Bill's sharp-shooting sidekick for trick or treating.

Flower Power Hippie Costume: Even young moms can bring back the 1960s with this Woodstock-worthy getup. Floral velveteen blouse and matching bell-bottomed pants and a jaunty fuchsia cap are available in women's sizes. Granny glasses and white go-go boots may be purchased separately.

Maternity Angel Costume: What could be sweeter than a glowing mother-to-be, dressed in this white winged outfit for trick or treating? The polyester dress, with wispy white sleeves, includes an elastic bodice and an empire waist skirt. Pink ribbon and a fluffy halo tie the look together in ethereal innocence. White tights and shoes easily complete the costume.

Potato Head Costume: Moms may play it up for trick or treating in this terrific toy ensemble. The licensed one-sized brown costume is made of foam. Accessories include the familiar detachable facial features for both Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, making it suitable for Halloween tag-teaming moms and dads to wear.

Red Riding Hood Plus-Sized Costume: Who's afraid of the big, bad wolf? Bold Mom certainly isn't, if she's sporting this cute Halloween costume. The outfit has a peasant dress with a faux lace-up front, attached gingham apron, and ruffled blouse top. A red velveteen hooded cape tops the trick-or-treating ensemble.

Most moms are on the run on Halloween, trying to keep up with their sugared-up kids on the trick-or-treat trail. Simple costumes with practical shoes are usually the best choices, especially for mothers pushing strollers or carrying kids on the run.
