A new way to make steak
Coined by Forrest Tucker from the show Sgt O'Rouke, the infamous peanut butter steak recipe can be found in The All American Cowboy Grill: Sizzlin Recipes from the World's greatest cowboys. Peanut butter steak is made like this: You take a ribeye steak that is tenderized and season it with some pepper. Then, you make sure it has liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce on it. Lastly, put a teaspoon of peanut butter on the steak and grill the steak.
What to do when you don't have a cat and you're out of cheese
Having trouble catching the mice in your house? There may be a problem with your bait. Most people use cheese to bait traps. However mice seem to like peanut butter even more than cheese. Go figure. So next time you'd like to catch some mice, bait your traps with peanut butter instead of cheese.
A parent's lifesaver
If you've got a child who's prone to bubble gum hair, fear no more. Peanut butter can nip that problem right in the bud. Simply apply peanut butter to your child's hair and voila, the bubble gum is out.
A pill-poppin helper
Some people have a difficult time getting pets to take their medicine. But with a small amount of peanut butter, a dog or cat will swallow a needed pill in no time. Here's what you need to do: Cover the pill with butter, cream cheese or peanut butter. Not only will the pet swallow the pill, but he'll swallow it fast.
The next level of playdough
Toys r us aint got nothing on this. Kids who need some new toys to play with are in luck if they have some peanut butter. Peanut butter playdough is fun to play with, and the best part is children can eat it. Here's how to make it : Take ½ cup of peanut butter, 1 cup of powdered milk, and ½ cup of honey. Mix all of the above ingredients together.
You can also make another version of peanut butter playdough by mixing equal parts of both cornstarch and peanut butter. Peanut butter can be fun to use, fun to eat and just plain fun to have around the house. So try out some of the above fun uses for peanut butter.
