NFL Preseason Football Builds Excitement
Whether you are a fan of the preseason or not, you have to agree that it certainly is exciting to watch your team take the field. After months of anticipation, NFL action of any kind is a welcome sight. Occasionally during the NFL preseason you will get a truly exciting game that is a heck of a lot of fun to watch. If nothing else, you get to see some players banging heads.
NFL Preseason Football Showcases The Rookies
From the very first day that your favorite NFL team selects their draft picks, everyone is waiting to see them in action for the first time on the pro level. The NFL preseason allows these rookies the opportunity to prove that they are going to be valuable to their respective teams. Showcasing the rookies in this manner makes the NFL preseason exciting all by itself.
NFL Preseason Football Position Battles
Many teams entered the NFL preseason with certain positions up in the air. This might be because of free agency or a new influx of talent at a position. Regardless of why, the NFL preseason allows these players to battle it out for who will be starting on opening day. This makes otherwise uninteresting preseason games much more fascinating and exciting.
NFL Preseason Football Allows Losing Teams To Win...Sometimes
If you are a fan of certain NFL teams that are annual losers, the NFL preseason gives your team a chance to see what winning tastes like. The calls the starters are not always in the game for very long, occasionally the bad teams pull out a victory during the NFL preseason.
NFL Preseason Football Gives Hope (However Misguided)
For whatever reason, the NFL preseason often allows even the worst teams to have a bit of hope heading into the season. Sometimes this hope is because they had some level of success during the preseason, and sometimes it is because of the performance of an unexpected rookie or free agent. While this hope is sometimes misguided, it still allows the less talented NFL football teams to begin the season on a high note.
