Nintendo Wii Racing Wheel
Price: $10
I have to admit that I am a huge fan of racing games. My only beef with console racing games are the lack of realism when using a controller. If the Wii player on your list loves racing games, put the Wii racing wheel in their stocking this Christmas. The Wii controller snaps into place in the center of the racing wheel giving players the chance to actually grip a steering wheel while playing racing games. The best part is that this great stocking stuffer will only set you back ten bucks.
Wii Game
Price: Under $20
Games make great gifts because there are dozens to choose from. While new titles can get pricey, there are hundreds of Wii titles available for under $20.
Tip - There is nothing worse than getting a crappy game as a gift. If you are unsure of what game to get, make a list of the games that your player already has and take it with you to a gaming specialty store. A sales associate will be able to make suggestions for similar games. Making a list also helps you avoid buying a game that your gift recipient already has.
Wii Classic Controller Pro
Price: $20
I love the motion gaming capabilities of the Wii. However, sometimes it is nice to be able to just chill out in a beanbag chair (especially after a long day at work). The Wii classic remote gives players the ability to play without having to bounce around the room like a toddler hyped up on Mountain Dew.
Wii Speak Microphone
Price: $30
Does your player spend most of their time playing online with their friends? The Wii Speak microphone allows players to voice conference with up to four friends at one time. This makes team based multiplayer gaming much easier.
Note to Parents: Worried about your child talking to strangers? The Wii Speak microphone will only work once your player has exchanged a special access code with their friends.
Controller Charging Station
Price: $30
Wireless controllers are great. Until their batteries die of course. If your Wii gamer plays for hours on end, they likely have to stop and recharge their batteries often. Not only does a charging station make this easy, it also allows them to keep a back up controller full charged just in case.
