Five Intriguing Minor Characters in the Twilight Saga

I have to say that I wasn't into fantasy novels very much until I saw my roommate reading Twilight. I asked her what Twilight was about because the cover intrigued me. When she started to explain the story of Bella and her vampire boyfriend, I was getting more intrigued. I asked her if I could borrow Twilight when she was done reading it, and I didn't put it down until I was finished with all four books.

Here are my favorite minor characters in the Twilight Saga. Listed from favorite to least favorite.

1. Carlise Cullen

Born human in the 1600's Carlise has been around the longest out of the Cullen family. Carlise is a doctor, husband, Father, and Vampire of course. He is the brains behind the Cullen family. Throughout the Twilight Saga he is the one that is able save Bella when she is human and still mortal. He is one of my favorite minor characters because if it wasn't for Carlise, there would not be "the Cullens". He is the one that transformed them into immortal vampires when they were on the brink of dying as humans. Carlise is always studying and learning more about the anatomy of a vampire. He is one of the most understanding and giving characters in The Twilight Saga.

2. Voltaire- Jane

Jane is an interesting character to me. Jane is part of the powerful Voltaire vampires that set the rules for vampires. Jane is able to mentally hurt another vampire. She gets into the minds of other vampires.

3. Angela Weber

Angela is the heart of Bella at school, and one of her most trusted friend, that is not a vampire. She is always very sweet to Bella.

4. Charlie Swan

Charlie is Bella's father, and police officer in Forks, Washington. He is pretty laid back for the most part, but has an underlying comedic personality. Every now and again he will say something that will make you laugh. He is not a big fan of Edward at first, and is determined to get Bella and Jacob together. He is good friend's with Jacob's father Billy.

5. Esme

Emse is the compassionate mother figure of the Cullen Family, and spouse to Carlise Cullen. She was saved by Carlise when attempting to commit suicide after loosing her child to a lung infection. I like Esme because of the way she welcomes Bella into her family. She has a shy and caring personality. Even though Vampires don't eat human food, she prepares an Italian meal for Bella's first visit to the Cullen home.
