I love to go to the Windy City. Chicago is one of the most amazing cities in America. I have been to Chicago three times over the years and never tire of the energy and excitement that it provides. Chicago offers some of the best that our country has to offer visitors. Some of the best museums, food and shopping (Magnificent Mile) in the world can be found in downtown Chicago. A visit to Chicago would not be complete without staying in one of downtown's luxury hotels. The five following luxury hotels in Chicago are rated 4 or 5 stars and would be worth considering for your trip.

1) Conrad Chicago is located on the Magnificent Mile just off Michigan Avenue. They have 311 guest rooms and 33 suites. The views from the rooms are either of the Chicago skyline or of Lake Michigan. The rooms are no smaller than 400 sq. ft. and offer 500 thread count linens. 5) Swissotel Chicago is between the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. It is close to both the Navy Pier and The Magnificent Mile. They have 632 rooms and suites that have either skyline views or views of Lake Michigan. The rooms vary from classic lake view rooms that have marble bathrooms with separate showers, mini bar and coffee maker to rooms designed with kids in mind with play areas, crafts and dvds. They offer a pool and fitness center in the penthouse(fee), 2 onsite restaurants and lounge. The rooms range in price from $229 to $919 approximately.
