Remember the Titans- This is one of Denzel Washington's best films. The movie is just great. Washington's ability to bring two groups of boys is phenomenal. He is tough, caring and motivating all at the same time. The film is full of laughs and will also make you cry. Based on a true story, Remember the Titans deals with racial issues as well as issues of the heart. To see this group of boys overcome so many obstacles and still come out champions is amazing. You are sure to get a huge lift to your day if you watch this film. Go out and rent this one today!
Rocky I- The story of Rocky is an American classic. Silvester Stallone delivers an amazing performance. Here is a guy just barely getting by in life. He has a dream to be a boxer and despite his challenges he refuses to give up. He fights through obstacles and wins the big fight. The determination that Stallone has in this movie is simply contagious. You will be ready to face anything after you watch this one of a kind film.
Facing the Giants- I caught this movie by chance because I was bored and looking for something to watch. What I saw quite simply changed my life! This is a story about trusting God through the hardest of times. To face all the challenges that the young couple in this movie faced and still keep going is amazing. Instead of giving up, they decided to trust God even more. The result, all of their dreams come true. If you are facing a tough time in your life, you MUST see this film. It will make you laugh, cry and inspire you all at the same time. Quite simply, it will change your life!
The Hurricane- Another amazing performance by Denzel Washington. What make this film so great is to see someone be wrongly accused and refuse to give up hope of seeing the light of day. Ruben Hurricane Carter could have given up hope easily. His whole life he had been done wrong. Instead he chooses to trust those who typically would do him wrong. To see this man freed at the end of the movie will make you believe you can overcome anything.
Meet the Parents- Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying. Meet the Parents will make you do just that. Ben Stiller is hilarious and the rest of the crew is great! This one is just for laughs. It will help you get through a tough day.
The next time you are having a long day, take a few moments out to catch one of these movies! I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Post a CommentHey, man. I gave you some grief on your prediction of the Titan's making the playoffs, but I think you have a great list here. Facing the Giants, for being such a low budget film and not a Hollywood blockbuster, was an amazing movie. It accurately depicts struggles that we all face in our lives, and shows that trusting in God can help us overcome. Great list!
