Five Must-Know Kissing Rules

Kristi Patrice Carter
Typically, when you remember any really great kisses you have had, they were all with people you were intimately involved with. That is because most memorable, great kisses have one thing in common. They have sincere and honest feelings and emotions underlying them.

Besides the emotional aspect of a kiss, however, you do need to adhere to a few kissing guidelines to really deliver a great kiss. Consider the following the must know rules for kissing:

Rule #1

It's all about the taste...and smell! If you have bad breath don't even consider kissing someone. You will not only leave a bad impression, but they will probably break the kiss early. Breath mints can be used as a last minute freshener, but not a cure-all. Properly brush your teeth, floss, and swig some mouth wash after eating to ensure a mouth that is always kissable.

Rule #2

Use more than you lips. A kiss should be a full-body experience....but not an x-rated experience! Use your hands to hug, caress, and stroke your partner's arms, neck and hair. Show them you are interested in every part of them.

Rule #3

Always keep your partner guessing. This means that you shouldn't only have one standard kiss in your repertoire. Bring variety to your make-out sessions using feather light kisses to luscious sensual kisses. Incorporate different kisses to match the mood and atmosphere. If your partner responds to one kiss more than another, you will know you have spiked her interest.

Rule #4

Don't be afraid to use your voice when kissing. Sprinkle soft incantations, sighs of pleasure and need, and your partner's name throughout your kisses. Your partner will feel that you are totally wrapped up in the moment and in them.

Rule #5

Know when to stop. No one wants to be kissed all the time. Pay attention to your partner's subtle clues when they want to stop kissing, or when a kiss wouldn't be welcome at all. By respecting your partners desires you will build appreciation for when they do want to be kissed.

By following these must know kissing rules you can deliver some great, unforgettable kisses.
