Five Points About No Control

DrD
"The apple don't fall far from the tree," is a popular saying in these southern parts, what it implies is that if somebody is goofed up as a football bat that it makes sense their kid's would make a hound holler at the moon. These fruity types have no control so they are a great example of what we're gonna get into here. Control is one thing, no control is another, no control isn't necessarily bad, not at all, there are times when control is the last thing you want; for example, playtimes. There are times when no control is an absolutely awful thing, being on the dais and being introduced to speak, and realizing you should have gone to the bathroom...awful, and even sometimes, painful. So the first thing we want to establish about no control is that it is a state of being.

As you grew up did you enjoy a great deal of freedom, or were your hours and behavior in those hours, set? It is hard to imagine but free time, with no structure, leaves a person fending for their own amusement; trouble is, the person often chooses behavior which has the least resistance. This behavior of least resistance often leads to choices which have control in the least column, so the behavior is no control, this is called, party. Second and obvious thing about no control, it comes with the trappings of joy, but that joy can be short lived; the parents come home.

In our culture, the U.S., and in our society, the rules of law apply, when you break those rules, the law applies as to how to adjust your behavior. Sometimes that means you have to be taken out of the culture, this is called jail time, or prison time; on occasion this means less strenuous types of arrested behavior, but the truth of no control is that it must be ruled in - we aren't totally free to behave any way we please, even though we like to spout off about freedom. No control is, therefore, not smart in a culture of law. What we derive as a third critical point about no control is, no control can be a rule breaking behavior, but no control by virtue of the conduct will lead to points of control. You can't have one without the other, it's a point of balance, be aware, that balance will come along and be ready to embrace it, without regard to how embarrassing that might appear to be.

When you have someone who is competent and you aren't, the wisest choice is to let the competent person take control, the simplest example, cooking, too much salt we know makes food worthless, not enough salt, leaves it lacking; cooking with no control can be risky, you might get enough salt in it, you might not. The person who is competent to cook might not be you, lose control, and let the competent take control. We now have the fourth characteristic; no control can be just perfect for the person with control being able to do so.

We move and breathe in a world that has order, order implies control, but we aren't the origin of such, just as we don't think original thoughts, we don't create, we only discover and emulate, we live in a state of no control. Inside such we move and have a sense of freedom, we call that, no control. If such exists it may imply that there are such possibilities as coincidence, so that there is more to this issue than meets the eye, and therein is point five, having no control is much wider and much broader than the life we believe we have time to live out.
