Five Questions for Hillary Clinton

What Greta Van Susteren Should Have Asked Her

Mark Stuart ELLISON
During a March 26, 2008 interview on "On the Record," Greta Van Susteren was way too easy on Hillary Clinton. Here are some questions that Greta should have asked:

1. Regarding the Bosnia gaffe: Being shot at is an extraordinarily traumatic event in a person's life, especially for a civilian who has never worn a uniform. How could you possibly misremember something like that?

2. In the past, you've made a number of inaccurate statements about your biography, such as being named after Sir Edmund Hillary and playing on a girl's soccer team. If the American people can't believe what you say about your youth, then why should they trust you in matters of life and death?

3. You are determined to have the Florida and Michigan delegations seated even though those states were stripped of delegates in accordance with DNC rules which you initially supported. Isn't that another inconsistency that makes you seem untrustworthy? And if the delegates are seated, wouldn't that make the DNC's rules meaningless since they could be changed at any time for political expediency?

4. During this campaign, many of your surrogates have made incendiary statements about Barack Obama and his supporters, often racially charged. To be sure, some of Senator Obama's people have also been out of line, but most of the invective has come from your camp. Will you emphatically state that your supporters should under no circumstances resort to such tactics and that any of your campaign personnel who do will be immediately terminated?

5. Some observers say that you will do anything to secure the Democratic nomination. Is there a place where you will draw the line and say, "I can do that, but I won't?" Could there come a point sometime before the convention where you decide that staying in this race is so damaging that conceding the nomination to Senator Obama is necessary for the good of your party and country?

I'm quite certain that Hillary's answers to Question 5 would be negative. Hillary will do anything in her power to prevent Barack Obama from securing the nomination. I don't trust her as far as I could throw her. As Dennis Miller recently remarked, "When Hillary came out of the womb crying, she was probably faking that as well."

Many active-duty military personnel and veterans find Hillary's amnesia about Bosnia insulting. To them, it suggests that there was inadequate security at an event which was perfectly safe. In recent interviews, retired Colonel David Hunt, who helped secure the Bosnia airport, said that there were over 4,000 soldiers present, as well as numerous tanks and patrolling aircraft. According to Colonel Hunt, Hillary would not have been allowed off the plane if there had been the slightest chance of sniper fire.

My late father, who served as a radio man in World War II, was nearly killed by a sniper's bullet in a French forest. To his dying day, he vividly recalled every detail of that experience. Soldiers and cops have been traumatized by sniper fire. It would, therefore, be a life-altering event for any civilian. Senator Clinton would have to have Alzheimer's Disease to not know whether someone fired a gun in her direction.

In fairness, I don't believe that Hillary intended any insult. She was simply trying to get away with telling a whopper that, if believed, would have boosted her foreign policy credentials.

And I'll give Hillary another point: she admitted that she made a mistake on Bosnia. Granted, she did so only after being contradicted by numerous eyewitnesses and video footage. But up until that moment, I had never heard her admit that she was wrong about anything.

Unfortunately, she then reverted to form by sarcastically adding, "I'm a human being. I know that's a revelation for some people." Well, Hillary, it wouldn't be if you hadn't spent your entire adult life cultivating your terminatrix image.

  • If Mrs. Clinton distorts trivia, how can we trust her to be truthful about life and death matters?
  • Senator Clinton will do everything in her power to rob Barack Obama of the Democratic nomination.
  • When Hillary Clinton came out of the womb crying, she was probably faking that as well.
Hillary Clinton has made numerous misstatements about her youth, such as being named after Mount Everest explorer Sir Edmund Hillary and playing on a girl's soccer team.

My most important question is why the press and the Clintons are not speaking about this: Case Number: BC304174
Peter F Paul VS William Jefferson Clinton scheduled for 04/25/2008 at 08:31 am in department 47 at 111 North Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012, Filing Date: 10/14/2003, Case Type: Fraud Type in Case number at L.A. court website for details of how Hillary had her name removed as defendant. http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/civilCaseSummary/index.asp?CaseType=Civil How does Senator Clinton think this will affect her standing with citizens, if the press ever decides to cover the story? I also am curious why she thinks dismissing and demeaning citizens who support her rival is a good presidential quality.

My questions: Will she denounce and reject Bill Clinton for his business partnership with UAE Dubai Sheiks for their outspoken Hebrew hatred? Will she denounce and reject the now Governor Rendell for his praise of Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam and association when Mayor of Philadelphia as reported in the NY Times, 1997? I want to know why she takes campaign contributions from Hoffman-La Roche knowing they are guilty of price fixing crimes? I want to know why she is lying about fighting special interests in DC and telling people Obama is giving "aid and care to special interests and their allies in the Republican party..." when she earlier said she would continue to take lobbyists money because "like it or not those lobbyists are real Americans". Is not Roche French with Swiss bank accounts? As an example of one of her special interests lobbyists. I am curious too about the lobbyist hired by Dubai that contribute to her campaign.

I heard her say she was sleep deprived when she misspoke. I also heard her say when questioned~after going into detail about a C-something plane in detail~that is what I said and that is the way it was. Now her followers say she was in danger due to sniper fire in the hills, rushing to her defense. What about the insistence that the greeting ceremony was canceled? Watching her speak about her great adventure, shows she is a pathological liar. People who believe their own lies or spin are very dangerous individuals. She also has narcissist personality disorder. If one has been burned by such an individual they do not need a psychologists degree to diagnose her. Google the traits of both mental disorders and judge for yourself.

Good stuff! The Clintons have always had a tenuous relationship with the truth, and Hillary seems to prefer to tell a lie when the truth will do perfectly well.
