Five Quick Easy Christmas Centerpieces

If you are in a pinch and need quick table centerpieces for you Christmas gathering try these quick and easy crafts from objects you have on hand. With a few supplies you can creative an attractive display in less than an hour.

Cheery Christmas Balls

Spray paint 6 to 8 wooden or plastic balls with bright green and red. Spray half of the balls green and the other half red. Allow to dry and apply a second coat. Use a metallic marker to write Christmas words such as peace, love, hope, noel and joy on the balls. Spray with a coat of clear acrylic sealer and allow to dry. Arrange in a decorative bowl tied up with a bright Christmas bow

Wrapped Gifts and Candles

Gather a dozen small boxes. Snack size candy boxes, raisin boxes or matchboxes are the ideal size. Wrap in brightly colored Christmas paper and tie up with curling ribbon. Place a pillar candle on a mirror. Add a few sprigs of evergreens and arrange the tiny gifts around the candle.

Candle Trio

Place three pillar candles on a serving plate. Use risers made from an overturned bowls or other small objects to elevate them so they are tiered. Add sprigs of evergreens around the base and between the candles. Add red berries or small ornaments. Cover the base of the candles with artificial snow and use as a centerpiece.

Wreath Centerpiece

Place your evergreen wreath in the center of the table. Add a red or white pillar candle to the center or use three red tapers evenly spaced around the wreath. Push the candleholders into the wreath and cover the base with the boughs. Wire colorful Christmas balls, pinecones, or small ornaments to floral picks and anchor into the wreath. Sprinkle with glitter or fake snow.

Evergreen Bouquet

Gather an assortment of evergreens and bundle into a big bouquet. Insert in a large vase, ice bucket or decorative container. Cover the container with foil wrap if desired. Add cones and bright ornaments and tied up with a Christmas bow. Add red and white carnations for a special effect.
