Five Signs Your Spouse is Cheating Online

Michelle Knudson
In order to catch a cheating spouse online then you need to be smarter than your spouse. A good way to catch your spouse cheating is to have more knowledge about the Internet then he or she does. Here are five signs your spouse is cheating online.

Your spouse hides what they are doing online

Anyone who hides what they are doing online is doing something that they shouldn't be doing. Be careful about anyone who claims to do things privately cause they have a right to privacy. People who use the privacy excuse usually do it to hide something in the first place. Don't believe the privacy excuse lie.

Your spouse never checks their email at home

Your spouse must be hiding something. Think about it for a few minutes. He or she is only checking their e-mail elsewhere to make sure that you don't see it. There shouldn't be a reason for you to not see their email unless they are afraid of you finding out about something.

Your spouse frequently surfs the Internet in the middle of night

Be concerned when your spouse is surfing the Internet late at night while you are sleeping. Why would they rather spend time on the Internet than with you? Be concerned. You should also note how long that they stay on the Internet during the night. If she or he stays up all night on the Internet then he or she is most likely involved in something that they shouldn't be. Be concerned about late night chats to people that last for hours or seem weird.

Your spouse has lots of online friends that you can't talk to

Your spouse may forbid you to talk to their online friends in order to hide something. He or she might tell lies to them about being married in order to have a cyber affair. Be careful of any sexual conversations that you might find on the computer.

Your spouse starts talking to people from the Internet on the phone

This is usually a sign that he or she has a interest in one person. Don't believe any lies that their computer broke so he or she had to call them instead in order to talk. Be concerned if they start talking to each other more and more frequently. Your spouse might start only calling them when away from you or in the middle of the night when you are sleeping.

I find this really funny. Those who want to cheat can cheat in ways more than outlined here. Besides, yes there IS a right to privacy. It is absurd to think you have to share EVERYTHING with your spouse, even all those details your friends tell you in confidence?? What if your spouse is a blabber mouth who cannot keep secrets?? Do you then let the spouse know of secrets others have shared with you??
A spouse may surf the net all night if awake and the other is asleep. OMG you mean you cannot speak on phone to people you have met on the net?? Is this stone age or what?? And what if you have online friends the other spouse cannot talk to?? Do you talk to ALL your spouse's 'real' life friends?? This sounds like stalking rather than checking on cheating.
