Five Sites that Pay U to Blog

As a dedicated blogger and the creator of Blog Writers and Artists Network, there is nothing I enjoy more than finding a great way to make a little money while performing my passion. Affiliate marketing, contextual linking, and ebay auction ads are all ways to make money online. However, there are five sites that can offer the daily blogger a way to make money on a regular basis, without waiting for that ever-loving click!

Today, there are loads of ways to make pocket money while blogging. However, it is best to get the blog up and going for at least three months before applying to a site that will actually pay you to blog.

If you are looking to make a million dollars blogging, these next five sites cannot help you. But, they are fun and can help you visit other sites, and familiarize you with options unknown.

1) PayU2Blog - This site, owned by Triangle Direct, will approve almost any blog. Normally, the blog does not require a certain page rank. Most of the time the blog does need to be in force for at least three months, which is the norm for most companies of this type. PayU2Blog pays $5.00 a post. They arbitrarily hand out assignments on a weekly basis. And they pay every two weeks through Paypal. It's a requirement if doing business online. Set up a PayPal account, and payments will be deposited like clockwork. PayU2Blog also does not have a bidding system, which is pretty nice. However, there is no way to go above the $5.00 mark, either.

2) Sponsored Reviews - Sponsored Reviews is really a great option in the avenue of paying to post. Unlike, PayU2Blog, they do not accept just any blog. And they do give the option of bidding. Which means the blogger can make more than $5.00 a post. The company asking for the review does have the choice of turning down the bid, but there are enough advertising opportunities, to offset that negative. They also require disclosure. Disclosure means the blogger has to reveal that the post has been paid by the company to review. Actually, not a bad idea.

3) Pay Per Post - The granddaddy of these companies, PayPerPost brags that tens of thousands of bloggers of have made thousands of dollars posting about everything, from website, to gadgets, to companies big and small. Like all companies on the net, they started out non-discriminating about the blogs they employed, but as success came so did discrimination. Now, there are a bunch of hoops to jump in order to work for them. That's ok, you can make great money with PayPerPost. However, your blog has to be in the upper stratosphere in the traffic lane to do so. To be fair, though, that is the name of the game on the internet today, and if you are trying to make money here, you already know that! Actually, PayPerPost is much cooler than most of these sites, because you choose the opportunity, write it, get approved and roll in the money!

4) Blogitive - Blogitive is a different type of post for pay model. They write a press release and the blogger then fits that into their blog post. They, unlike Sponsored Reviews do not require disclosure. Frankly, I like the idea of disclosure. You are writing a commercial, in effect, and the reader already knows that, why not be absolutely up front about it? Also, Blogitive seems to attract those who want an awful lot of work, for very little money. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind working hard, just pay me for it! In the end of it, though, Blogitive is on the cutting edge of things. They offer a directory that a blogger can place on their blog, which helps to add value to the blog. That is a nice touch.

5) Bloggerwave - Bloggerwave is the newest company of this type flying in cyberspace. At this point, they really do not have many advertisers, but they do pay well, and who could ask for more? Bloggerwave, also has not gotten to the point where they have a regular system set up for all of their entries. This makes it difficult for the blogger to complete work. This is a challenge that will probably be remedied as their company grows.

All in all, these companies are a cool way to make money if you like to blog. All of them have their negative and positive aspects. As in all opportunities on the Web, these days the more you put into the effort, the more you will get out.

The most negative area of this model is that it can wreck the theme of your blog, itself. Lots of readers can be turned off by posts that are paid. In fact, I had one reader write to me and ask if I still wrote my own blog posts. He was afraid that my blog had been hijacked by a blog advertising company.

The positive aspect? Well, you make money! What could be better than that?
