With that in mind, this summer promises some great games all in the same price level of around sixty dollars. This list is identical to the hot releases for the X Box 360. These are the best bets for your money though:

Tiger Woods gold is a great series. The sleek performance of the PS3 should bring the courses to life in vivid detail. This years release promises to be the best golf game yet. The TV broadcast presentation should a bring a unique difference to the golf genre this time around. The folks at EA are usually pretty reliable. This is a game for skilled players and novice levels. The game drops 6/4.

Red Faction: Guerrilla

Red Faction: Guerrilla promises to be an exciting release for the summer. Once again you will find yourself going toe to toe with those pesky martians. This time around you will have to rely on guerrilla tactics to get the job done. This promises to be a solid release for the MA 17+ crowd, with a great on line multi player option. Look for Red Faction on June 2.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game

Atari brings Ghostbusters to the next gen consoles after years of anticipation. Gamers across the country are hoping the product is worth the wait. With appearances by the original movie cast, this game should offer something for everyone in the T 14+ rating set. Look for Ghostbusters on sale June 7.

Wolfenstein

Wolfenstein will have you fighting the Nazi's and their secret supernatural weapon. The missions should be exciting in both single and multi player versions. The rating is not yet determined but look for a T fourteen. Wolfenstein will be available on July 1.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits

Whats the matter with those old Guitar Hero songs? No drums, and no mic huh? Problem solved. This summer you can finally test your drumming ability on Through The Fire and Flames. The folks who bring you Guitar Hero have combined forty eight of the most popular songs on previous versions of the game, and adapted them to include the drum kit and microphone. So call the band up and get them over on June 16, and rock out.
