Our youth group watched the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the 2002 Super Bowl. We participated in the victory parade afterward.

Buccaneers Mike Alstott, Ronde Barber, Derrick Brooks, John Lynch and Warren Sapp were instrumental in that Super Bowl win. They also helped turn a losing franchise into a winner and gave Tampa their reputation for a strong defense. They all have had exceptional and long careers.

Players career highlights are:

Mike Alstott or "A-Train" wore jersey #40 as fullback for the Buccaneers from 1996-2007. His career stats are 7,372 yards and 71 touchdowns. He was in six Pro Bowls and three All-Pros.

Ronde Barber wears jersey #20 as cornerback for the Buccaneers since 1997. His career stats are 1,278 tackles, 26 sacks and 40 interceptions. He has been in five Pro Bowls. He has the most consecutive starts and most quarterback sacks by an NFL cornerback.
