Five Television Shows that Should Made it to the Big Screen

I love watching television and I love going to the movies. There are some good television shows that would translate on the big screen well. Yes, I know that usually television shows that are made into movies are bad. However, there are shows on television today that would pack people into the movies theaters, if they were made into major motion pictures. In fact, here are five top television shows that are ready a movie makeover.

1. I Carly would make a good family movie. It would be enjoyable to see Carly, Sam, Freddie, and Spencer in a full length movie. They could travel overseas to Europe or Australia to produce their web show. Spencer could have a girlfriend and think about getting married. Carly and Spencer's dad could come to visit them. Carly and Sam could confess that they have always liked Freddie. Freddie would have to pick one of them to be his girlfriend. Alternatively, Carly could realize that she does like Freddie. She has to decide if she will tell him that she likes him.

2.The Mentalist would make a mentally challenging movie. I love Simon Baker because he is a good actor, cute, and Australian. I would love to see him work his mental magic on the silver screen. The movie could involve him finally finding and defeating Red John. Also, Patrick Jane could fall in love again.

3. Monk would make a fantastic film. I am sad that Monk is off the air. There are book about Monk; therefore, a full- length feature film makes perfect sense. I know that he solved Trudi's murder. However, Natalie could need his help. In addition, his psychiatrist could get kidnapped. A nice international Monk mystery in Holland or England would be both hygienic and movie gold.

4. The Big Bang Theory would make physics funny. Sheldon, Leonard, and Penny in a movie would be great. If this television show was made into a movie, there would be another science fiction movie that was entertaining. A possible plot could involve Sheldon and Leonard finding a cure for the common cold. Also, there could be a plot involving String Theory versus string cheese. Let's hear it for physics and physicists.

5. Royal Pains would be a king-sized comedy. This television show already takes place in The Hamptons. Therefore, the setting for a movie would be ideal. Also, a movie with Henry Winkler in in would be great.
