Five Things I Leaned from a Millionaire

It has been three years now, since i met the most interesting person in my life. His thoughts and actions were not like anyone's . This man was in his mid thirties and was an average looking person when i last saw him at a friend's party. I observed him for a very long time, until i learnt how he became successful in life. So here are five of the observations that i made.

1) With all the experience that he had gone through in life, his capacity to face failures had grown stronger. He would usually avoid negative thoughts as fast as he would encounter them and move on to the next challenge in life . Frowning and sobbing was not his nature . He would take the biggest failure with complete ease and still manage to fight back . This was one of the biggest lessons i learnt from him; To be resilient .

2) He never spoke badly about anyone, and always looked forward to making friends. I believe that was the reason why he always got his job done for free. Whether it was borrowing money, or borrowing a car or any other thing that he wanted, he always got it through a simple request. He never had to beg someone to get a job done .If someone did not do a job for him , someone else would. That really taught me how benefited i would be, by doing some sweet talking.

3) His entrepreneurial skills were amazing. He would always go ahead and take actions to achieve what he wanted . Just like he did that night , when he saw the girl he liked. He made it a point to fire up a conversation and get her a drink in no time . Within minutes, she was on the dance floor with him , laughing and giggling. Now i am sure you will take the necessary action required to achieve your goals, won't you ?

4) Time was a really precious resource to him. I landed up on this conclusion because i noticed him using his phone a lot. He usually got flooded with short messages in short spans of time , to which he replied instantly .
Although i didn't understand all of what he spoke over the phone, but i still managed to understand that some kind of work was being done every time he called a person .

5) When he finished spending two hours at the party, he made sure to greet and thank everyone and make a leave quickly. It was evident that he was a man who believes in discipline and would practice discipline himself, besides preaching it merely.

Finally, i would like to share a few words of wisdom.I believe that there could be hundreds of qualities in people around you , but the change would only come if you put them to use instead of allowing them to stay in theory alone. Thanks for reading. I hope you learnt something from this article.
