France, has numerous cities and town of interest to travelers. Paris is the cosmopolitan capital of France and is one of the largest cities in Europe. Dubbed the "City of Light", it is the most popular tourist destination in the world. Paris is home of the Eiffel Tower, (one of the most famous landmarks in the world). Notre Dame Cathedral, Picasso Museum and the Louvre, (one of the finest museums in the world of art, art-history, and culture). Bordeaux is Famous for its various wines, which are considered among the best in the world. Have a walk on the Sainte Catherine Street in the Pedestrian Center, take a ferry boat over the river, or visit the Botanic Gardens.
Spain, is home of La Sagrada Familia, (The Holy Family) a massive Roman Catholic basilica (church). 226 million people visited the partially built basilica in 2004 making it one of the most popular attractions in Spain. Construction began in 1882 and is expected to be completed around 2026. Also visit the Alhambra. A palace and fortress complex of the Moorich Monarchs of Granada, in Southern Spain.
The United States, has many attraction for visitors to see. Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. This epic sculpture features the faces of four American presidents; George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodor Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. The Statue of Liberty, enlightening the world, was a gift from the people of France, and is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. Visit the Statue of Liberty in New York City.
China, home of the Great Wall of China, the world's longest human made structure, stretching over 6,400 km, (4,000 miles) from Shanghai Pass in the east to Lap Nur in the west. Hong Kong has many exciting places to see. The Peak is the most popular attraction. You will be amazed by the awesome view of the surrounding city skyline.
Italy, a long peninsula shaped like a boot, houses the Colosseum of Rome. It is the largest ancient structure still standing in Rome. The Colosseum was used for the Roman Games and was able to accommodate 50,000 spectators. Also be sure to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, located in Tuscany. The tower is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the Cathedral of Paris. During construction the ground began to sink, causing the tower to lean. Hence the name, The Leaning Tower of Pisa.
