No doubt everyone has heard about the Groupon website. You can sign up using your email, and in no time you will be receiving deals in your area. The problem however, that some have is that they are quick to grab the coupons, but slow to use them. If you spend time looking for the deals it only makes sense to use it. Below you will find five tips that will help you to avoid wasting your Groupon coupon deals.
Print and organize
When you get a deal sent into your email it only makes sense to print it out. Even if the deal is only available online you should print out the email. If you have a coupon holder place it in here so you can keep good track of the deals as they pop up.
Use a bulletin board
If you have a bulletin board in your work area that you use for notes, and bills you can put your Groupon deals here as well. If you print them out you can hang them up on the bulletin board. Or you can leave a note for yourself as a reminder that you have a Groupon to use. Make sure that you put the date on the note as well.
Use your phone
Even if you don't have a phone that allows you to download (PDF) files. You can easily use you phone to put the Groupon information on your calendar. Most phones come with their own calendar built into it. Just type in the information and have it alert you a few days before the deal expires. This will keep you from letting your Groupons expire.
Set up computer alerts
If you prefer to use your computer to keep track of your Groupon deals this can work as well. All computers come with a calendar function that you just have to learn how to use. Some even set up their computer to alert them when they get a new email. This way your Groupon deals will not get lost in your notifications.
Divide the deals by location and type
Sometimes there are Groupons for stores, and sometimes there are deals for restaurants. Sometimes dividing up the deals after you have printed them makes it a lot easier to keep track of. For example if you have a specific day that you like to eat out, than you can set aside the restaurant deals just for this day. Or if you have a deal for clothing, put it in your wallet so that you have it next time you are out and near the store.
