Buying clothing for your family can be very costly, especially when you have growing children. We try to shop sales when we can, but sometimes things come up and we have to buy them at retail prices. There is an art to saving money on everything that we do. Listed below are five amazing ways to save money on fashion for the whole family.

1. SHOP END OF SEASON CLEARANCE SALES

Shopping the clearance sales at the end of the season is a great way to shop and catch some amazing deals.
At the end of the summer you should purchase next years summer clothes for the whole family. This is the time when you can find 60-80% off all summer clearance. Find bathing suits that would normally cost you $40.00 for $8 or less, shorts, t-shirts and other things for your family can be purchased for $5 or less. When shopping for small children you can purchase larger sizes to ensure that everything will fit well next year. Shopping out of season is something that can be practiced year around after each season. Even department stores, such as Macy's; Dillards, and Nordstroms etc. have these amazing sales on designer items at a fraction of the cost.

2.SHOP SALES

There are a few stores that have amazing sales every year. Stores like JcPenny and Macy's often have friends and family sales at least three or four times out of the year. When these sales take place you can often time get big saving. There will be coupons in your local newspaper or in their sales paper for an additional 15-20% off of sales items and many times you will be able to use this coupon on clearance also. During this time they may also offer additional discounts if you open a charge or even when you pay with your existing charge. The next time you're out shopping, be sure to ask the sales person about the big annual sales events for that store.

3.RESALE SHOPS

Resale shops can be a excellent place to shop for the whole family. You can often find new items and designer clothing that has never been worn. Many of these items are only priced at $2 or $3. They have everything from shoes, to designer purses, fur coats, active wear, formal wear, casual wear and much, much more. Check out your local resale shops today. Places such as the Salvation Army and Value World are great places to shop, and they also print coupons for percentages off of their merchandise. Some will give free clothing if you're low income.

4.SHOP ONLINE(CLEARANCE)

Shopping online has so much to offer, You can shop anywhere in the world from the privacy of your own home. Every store online has a clearance section, so if you're checking out , Sears, Target, Walmart or any other store online be sure to click on clearance. Another great place to check out is Ebay, some items you may be able to bid what you want to pay, other items may be sold in a large quantity, and it just may be in your size, or it could just be at a great price. You could also check out Overstock.com. When searching the web your options are endless.

5.YARD SALES

Let's not ever forget the wonderful deals that we have found at yard sales over the years. If you have never been to a yard sale, you must take a day and do so. Sometimes they are advertised in your local classifieds or if you simply get up on a Saturday morning and drive through some neighborhoods you,re sure to find several yard sales. You may find baby clothes that have not been worn, nice sweaters, dresses and so much more, all for very little money and you may even be able to talk them down on the price.
