Homefront
Release: March 2011
I have always been a fan of guerrilla warfare based games. One of my all time favorites is Freedom Fighters. For this reason, Homefront immediately caught my eye. In the game, you are an American fighting in to regain control of the country after it is overrun by a Korean military forces. If you are a FPS (First Person Shooter) fan, this title should go straight to the top of your wish list.
Bulletstorm
Release: February 2011
Into futuristic shooters like Halo and Borderlands? You are sure to enjoy this title. Bulletstorm is a futuristic FPS where you take the on the role of a mercenary who has been banished to a dangerous planet somewhere in the galaxy. Stealthy military games annoy me, so I was excited to see the trailer packed with nothing but rounds flying through the air (I guess that is why they called the game Bulletstorm).
Duke Nukem: Forever
Release: May 2011
I never thought this release would ever come. In the works since 1997, Duke Nukem: Forever will finally be released. Based on the popular original title from the early 1990's, I am curious to see how far the franchise has come. While I am skeptical due to the number of delays that they game faced in the last decade, I will definitely be checking out whether it was worth the wait.
F.E.A.R 3
Release: May 2011
This series has always creeped me out. If you haven't played any of the F.E.A.R titles, just imagine Modern Warfare meets Freddy Kruger. In this series, you take on a special team that investigates and battle paranormal phenomenon. If you are looking for a great First Person Shooter that will leave you sleeping with the lights on, F.E.A.R 3 is sure to please.
True Crime: Hong Kong
Release: June 2011
I was excited to see that the True Crime series would be adding a new title. I really enjoyed the original True Crime: Streets of LA. There were significant improvements when the second installment True Crime: New York City was released. I can only imagine what Hong Kong will have in store. While there are very few good police games, True Crime is among the best of the best.
