Fixing Immigration, Drug, Crime, and National Debt Problems

A No Nonsense Approach to Correct Our Nation's Problems

J. Motes
In recent years the problem of millions of illegal aliens crossing the American border has become a hot button political issue. Like many things in life, the solution is simple if only our political leaders had the fortitude to address problems that are politically controversial.

Another problem that is a growing concern for many is the problem of affording the social welfare programs needed to feed, provide healthcare, and house the millions of Americans who won't work. The obvious solution to this is to simply let them die, but alas America doesn't have the stomach for the laws of nature. We have somehow come to believe that those who don't work and only suck from the government (tax payer) nipple should continue to be provided all that is needed to live.

A third problem facing the nation is the dual problems of crime and drugs. The people mentioned in the previous paragraph often are involved in drugs and crime. Their continued presence in public housing facilities therefore makes these facilities and the surrounding neighborhoods blights upon our urban areas.

My solution, which will be unveiled in a minute, solves all of these problems and is so simple that many will have wished they had thought of it.

My plan begins with HUD (Housing and Urban Development) beginning immediately to begin building only public housing facilities along the US / Mexican border. As these facilities are completed those Americans who have not filed a tax return indicating earned income in the past 5 years will be sent to live in the facilities along the border. Of course their will be waivers for the retired, disabled, and others but we will work out the details later.

As Mexicans approach the border to come to America to work for a living to support themselves and their families, they will be allowed to enter. For each Mexican that enters the country, the government will then toss an equal number of Americans from the Public Housing Facilities across the border and simultaneously revoke their citizenship.

Problems solved. Mexicans are welcomed into the United States to become productive citizens. The undesirables in our society are set free to live in beautiful Mexico away from the rest of us. And the cost of Social Services is reduced.

Now, wasn't that simple?
