It all starts when you walk in the door. There is no sound-proof window that you yell through to get your tickets. You literally walk up to a ticket counter as if you were buying tickets for a trip. You look up and all the destinations are listed above you with their departure times. It makes you feel as if you are taking an adventure. The counter is uncluttered and clean. The cashier is prepared and pays attention to you as if they are interested in taking your money.
Everyone is friendly and you notice immediately how clean the carpets and lobby are. They are so clean that you wonder if they just opened the movie theater for the first time that day. I have visited this location at least thirty times and every single time the person behind the counter selling drinks and popcorn is polite and understands that you are in a rush to make it to your movie on time. The people that work here actually want to help you make your movie on time and have a real sense of urgency.
The bathrooms are always stocked and clean. All the lights are working and the toilet seats are in perfect condition. You are not afraid to go to the bathroom. I have yet to see the bathroom with toilet paper or paper towels all over the floor. There is no graffiti, no soap running all over the counters. When you sit down to watch the movie your shoes are not standing on a sticky floor and your body is not sitting in a smelly, worn out chair. It is so obvious when someone cares and have leaders that care. It is equally obvious when they don't. These people really care. They actually stopped me from seeing a movie on time once because they did not feel the theater was up to their standard. They refuse to give the customer less than what they promise. That is a real commitment.
The sound system is awesome, the projector equipment works well and doesn't stop in the middle of the movie. I have yet to have a movie have to stop during the middle for a technical reason. This is what the theater experience is supposed to be. This is why we go to the theater to see movies. I am a raving fan of this company and its commitment to making a great movie-going experience.
They also have a Flagship Cinemas membership program where you can earn free movie tickets by using their business frequently. They keep track of your points so that you don't have to. I have seen two free movies so far on them!
I am impressed that my movie experience at Flagship Cinemas is such a seamlessly smooth journey. I have to say it makes the movie that much more enjoyable. They do movies justice and I appreciate my movies being a special theater experience again.
I suggest that if your are in town any time soon, take a couple of hours and go see a movie at one of the best movie theaters around!
