The fire's embers
Ignites from ashes once
Blackened to the ground
The smoke swirls
And stirs in motion
The oxygen to power its flame
You tried to extinguish the raging fire
To never feel the burning again
Forgot the ember still lingered
Waiting for death to come
Forgot the spark was fragile and tempted
Because it had been so long
Now the flames of desire consume you
To Ashes
