When you open up the Flashcard Touch application, you will be shown a few sections. The top portion displays the card sets that you have created. There will already be a default card set titled My Flashcards, inside of which will be one flashcard. You can edit this card or delete it.
You can create new card sets that include cards of your choosing. You can also add cards to already created card sets. To do so, simply click on the title of the card set. The next screen will show you a list of cards already in the card set. To add a new card, click on the picture of the pencil at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Then just type in the relevant information to create your new card.
To study a set of cards, first click on the card set name from the home page. Then, click on a card that you would like to start studying from. The screen will turn to show you the card. Tap the screen to show some options, like shuffling the deck. To flip the card over, simply swipe the screen to the left or right. To flip the card again, just swipe the screen again. To move on to the next card, simply swipe up or down.
When viewing a set of cards, you will notice that you can separate cards by whether or not they are checked. When studying cards, you can check them by touching the checkmark at the top right hand corner of the card that you would like to check.
What is great about this application is that you can access already made card sets. All you need is an Internet connection. Once you have that, go to the home page of the application, and click on "Browse for more..." to be directed to a whole range of categories of cards. Categories include:
-Languages & Vocabulary
-Math & Science
-History and Geography
-Arts & Literature
-Study Level (8th Grade up to College)
-Standardized Tests (includes SAT and GRE relevant cards)
-Professional & Trade
-Fun & Interesting
Download pre-made card sets to save you from having to create card decks, and start learning what you have always wanted to learn.
