Whenever my fiance and I want a nice meal at a reasonable price without having to cook at home we go down the street to Flim Flam Restaurant, one of our favorite places to frequent. The waitress knows what we like to drink, and we always get to sit at our usual table. I love to come into the restaurant, sit down, and take a good look at the menu. I have such a hard time deciding what to order at Flim Flam, not because there are few items that are good, but rather because everything is good.
My favorite item on the menu is the chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread with fries. I love the consistency of the chicken salad, it is more creamy than chunky, and it goes great with their steak fries. I also love to start my meal with a dinner salad with ranch, which comes in a generous helping. No matter what I order, however, it always comes out of the kitchen in about 10 minutes, which is much faster than most restaurants. This is just one of the many reasons I love to eat at Flim Flam.
I also love to frequent Flim Flam because it is usually pretty quiet, which is nice after a long day at work with screaming kids and impatient customers. There are usually the same people in Flim Flam Restaurant every time you visit. The waitress, forgive me I can't remember her name, is great at remembering your face and what you like to drink as well as any particular sides you may ask for every time you visit. For example, my fiance loves ranch with his fries and burger and many times he won't even have to ask for it, she will just bring it with his meal.
All of the employees at Flim Flam Restaurant are very friendly and make polite conversation with you when you come in, check out, and the time in between. I love the mom and pop atmosphere at the restaurant that is so hard to find now-a-days with all the chain restaurants.
The many letters posted up around the register in the front of the store are a testament to the awesome service that you will receive at Flim Flam Restaurant, as wall as the great tasting foods that are listed on their menu. If you are in Ann Arbor, I highly recommend visiting Flim Flam Restaurant for a quick bite to eat and a friendly atmosphere.

Post a CommentI wouldn't starve to death if Flim Flam was the only restaurant in town, but I've only gone there about four times in 25 years so that should tell you something.
Sounds like a nice place. Thanks.
