Flip Video Recorders

I heard about the flip video recorder from a co-worker who showed hers to me. I really liked the idea of being able to carry it anywhere, so I bought one of my own. I have been so happy with it, that I wanted to share my thoughts with you.

The flip is one of the newest digital recording machines available on the market today. With a price tag of about a hundred and thirty dollars, it is also one of the most affordable recorders. They are small enough to fit in one hand but large enough to never be lost in the bottom of a purse.

There are two models, one records an hour of footage, the other only a half-hour. Its sleek design doesn't include a lot of buttons, making it very easy to operate. The idea for the flip was to make it affordable and easy enough for anyone to have and use. They currently come in two colors, white and black.

With each flip you get built in software, a plug to connect it to the tv, two AA batteries, a wist strap, and a carrying case. The built in software allows you to take still pictures, make and edit videos, and it even allows you to set them to music. It also has a built in USB plug which means that you never have to deal with hooking up a a tangled cord to the computer. With the simple press of a button, anyone can become a videographer. Likewise anyone can become a star. It is very easy to watch instant replays.

I love my flip. I take it everywhere I go, and I have already amassed several hundred videos. Its great for catching those funny moments with the kids or for snapping a picture (to show your friends later) of the scary toupee wearing man you saw at the mall. Never before has it been so affordable to catch a moment and share it with your friends.
