Flirting with Self-Conclusion

He sits on the edge of the world,
Troubled and not quite right,
Waiting for a helping hand
That ought to come, but won't.
He walks a world of monochrome rainbows,
Flirting with self-conclusion,
Silent because he lacks the words to say,
And someone to say them to.
