Florida camping clubs are associations or clubs, which promote the outdoor pursuits and share information on camping excursions with members. Membership in Florida camping clubs is often free, but some groups may charge a nominal fee for annual membership. Registration and communication with most clubs occurs online, with members meeting and enjoying outdoor recreational activities at club events.

The North America Family Camping organization works with individual camping clubs to ensure quality and safe experiences for campers. A stamp of approval from this unofficial governing body of outdoor pursuits demonstrates to potential members not only the financial management of the camping club, but the high level of commitment the group places on safety and use of natural areas which the club visits.

I love camping out in the wild and over the years I have found that the best thing is always to take a good travel guide with you wherever you go.
