The storms they come
I sit at home.
The storms they go
I bite my toe.
I sit at home.
The storms they go
I bite my toe.
First was Charley
Bad, bad boy.
Mean and ornery
Brought no joy.
Frances soon
No lady she.
Trashed us good
Back out to sea.
Ivan too
A nasty threat.
Slid up North
And left us wet.
Then decided
Turn around.
Tried his best
To all us drown.
Finally Jeanne
Her winsome ways.
In the dark
We sat for days.
If you think these
Snarly jokes.
It's because
"We've had it folks"!
